EPA Recognizes Haven Properties w/2008 Energy Star Excellence Award |

| Haven earns award from environmental protection for the 3rd consecutive year. An ENERGY STAR partner since 2004 and award winner for 3 consecutive years, Haven Properties' efforts include building all homes to meet or exceed ENERGY STAR requiurements and sponsoring consumer education efforts to promote energy efficient homes. Haven's activities contribut to a much larger national effort. Last year alone, Americans with the help of ENERGY STAR saved $16 billion on their energy bills and reduced greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those of 27 million vehicles. |

| The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named Haven Properties it's Energy Star 2007 Partner of the Year, honoring the Atlanta builder's outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by building energy-efficient homes. Haven Properties is the first GA homebuilder to commit to building 100% of its homes to meet the ES requirements, and this is the second year in a row the building company has received the award. "Energy Star homes help protect our environment and have even aided in the health of children with respiratory problems," said Kathleen Hogan, director of EPA's Climate Protection Partnerships Division. |

The EarthCraft House Awards honors builders, developer, renovators and manufacturers that are dedicated to protecting the environment through its sustainable design and construction of homes, communities and products. THE ACCOLADE AWARD won by Haven Properties, recognizes a member who has achieved national recognition outside of the program. For three years straight, Haven Properties has been awarded the Energy Star Builder of the Year for 2006, 2007 and 2008. |

| Haven Properties recently brought home the Gold Award for Best Specialty Room from the BALA in Orlando, the country's foremost residential design competition. The winning room is our home management center in our IDEA Home at Harmony on the Lakes, a Cherokee County TownPark community. The home mangement center is an option we offer our homebuyers in our Darlington Plan. It's located near the kitchen and is the ideal spot for hobby room, homework station, bill paying and laundry duties. Wired for internet access, the room was designed to relieve the demands on the kitchen countertop space that daily chores often require. |

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named Haven Properties its Energy Star® 2006 Partner of the Year, honoring the Atlanta builder's outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by building energy-efficient homes. Haven Properties is the first Georgia homebuilder to commit to building 100 percent of its homes to meet Energy Star requirements. The builder's accomplishments were recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., on March 21, 2006.
